Welcome!! Thank you for visiting our website.
 
Monthly meetings are held at Laurel Co. Extension Office (behind Big Lots) the 1st Saturday of each month, beginning at 10:00 am.  Come join us!!

Show and Tell at each monthly meeting!!
Bring those finished projects to share!!

Dues ($18.00) are payable this month, make checks payable to MLQ and mail to Ann Stivers.

Dues are only $18.00 a year, with $1.00 from this going toward Ovarian Cancer Research.

Members will be doing demonstrations at the Mountain Life Museum at Levi Jackson State Park
October 18, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Quilts will be on display!

Money collected for not wearing your name badge ($1.00 fine!) plus other donations, will be given to the Emma Lou Cissell Scholarship Fund.           
Laurel County Homemakers award two $1,000.00 scholarships most years.  Isn't that great?
Have you contributed yet?  Poinsettia sales are coming up soon.  Buy one or two as a gift or make a monetary donation.  Tax deductible!

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, the past 4 years, along with many other charitable opportunities
including Project Linus!  

We're collecting for boys, ages 10-14 again this year.

There are many classes, both ongoing and one day, that will be held at Paula's Quilting Pantry for a small nominal teacher fee.  I encourage you to check these out and let Paula know if you are interested in any of these upcoming opportunities!
