Extension Office (behind Big Lots) the 1st Saturday of each month, beginning at 10:00 am. Come join us!! A Quilt Gathering will be held Oct. 19-20, 2012 Appalachian Children's Home in Barbourville: Sewing lesson for the girls. Shown is their finished rag quilts!!  Classes!! Several members are starting one of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilts! This one is Orca Bay! We are just getting started (Nov. 2011)! Print off your instructions from her website and join us on Friday mornings at Paula's Farmhouse at 10 am. Starting in February! If you aren't a member yet, come join us!! We'll be working on this (among other things) all year long, starting in January 2012, and these lessons are held during our regular monthly meetings, at the Laurel County Extension Office. There are other classes, both ongoing and one day, that will be held at Paula's Quilting Pantry for a small nominal teacher fee. I encourage you to check these out and let Paula know if you are interested in any of these upcoming opportunities!
